my story
Growing up, I constantly felt a struggle to balance my own intuitive wisdom with the “shoulds” of the world. I sometimes felt like I didn’t know how to exist in my own body, like I didn’t have the tools to navigate the world of emotion and the world of cultural expectation. Each new input made it difficult to balance my own internal state with my external experiences. Somewhere along the way this balancing act became too much. I turned off and tuned out, resulting in years of not seeing my authentic path.
I went through the motions and did all the things I was “supposed” to do. I had several prestigious jobs, but I felt a painful sense of separation. This pain led me to embark upon a conscious journey of self-discovery and transformation. By feeling into my own disconnection I began to recognize a similar lack of fulfillment in the lives of so many around me. I wanted to hear the stories of others and I wanted to help them. This desire led me to pursue my own meaning and purpose, which eventually transformed into a Masters in Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver.
It was in witnessing my clients vulnerability, healing, and transformation that I came alive to the power of the therapeutic process. Experiencing my clients on a soul level awakened me to many other sensitivities that had been pushed down inside of me for so long.
our work
My own journey towards wholeness and self-discovery inspires me to support others in doing the same. I am interested in reconnecting and fine-tuning your internal guidance system. Together, we will create a therapy experience of cosmic exploration with practical application. We might interweave elements of meditation, yoga, breathwork, plant medicine integration, clairvoyance, and dreamwork as a compliment to evidenced-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Curiosity of your experience and a willingness to explore uncharted territory are the only things you need to begin. On my part, I promise to show up authentically, meet you where you are, and to exude a strong, grounded, and non-judgmental presence during our time together.
